Rolling.ro: Your full name, age, location?
Austin: austin daniel paz, 19, staten island, ny

Rolling.ro: How long have you been skating?
Austin: 11 yrs

Rolling.ro: Who do you skate for? (sponsors)
Austin: valo, bunique, able and eulogy

Rolling.ro: How did you get to where you are now?
Austin: no idea really. just skating around, traveling, fliming shit for videos, i guess skating with Billy O'neil fish and franco Camayo helped out a lot, with sponsors and shit

Rolling.ro: How is it to be "an inline star"?
Austin: well, im here now at the lg world finals in dallas texas and being and "inline star" seems to be nothing compared to skateboarding and biking ha, but i wouldnt at all consider myself an inline star, im no haffey or shima or aragon

Rolling.ro: What are your favorite spots to skate?
Austin: the best spot i ever skated was this small bank to rail in rochester, ny. its a tiny 1ft high bank to this shin high straight rail thats the most fun ever. i guess that, and this sign i skated in florida, i skate it in checktmate, its a launch to a big green sign, it was so fun

Rolling.ro: Do you have any new projects for the future?
Austin: just The Truth, im working on that now, gona finish it in a few days and should be out in about a month, then me and the kelsos plan on making another video next yr

Rolling.ro: What movies did you star in and wich one pleased you the most?
Austin: i had parts in we are valo 2, freestyle rolling, checkmate, nature skate video's "one". That i can think of now and a bunch of random clips in a bunch of other videos

Rolling.ro: Are you into any other activities besides rollerblading?
Austin: photography and video

Rolling.ro: What sacrifices did you make for this sport?
Austin: if anything, i guess it would be school. if i went to school i wouldnt have as much time to travel to skate as much so skating kind of gives me an excuse for that. i probably wounldnt go to school anyways because i hate it so much either way

Rolling.ro: What was your best, and what was your worst experience in rollerblading?
Austin: i guess my worst experiences in skating would be one of the broken bones ive gotten over the yrs, those are never fun. probably the most painful thing ever to break a bone, i duno if i can pin point my best experience in sktaing, but its been the process of making The Truth because it gave me a chance to finally be on the other side of the industry to show ppl what me and my crew think about skating

Rolling.ro: Which is the most important thing when you skate?
Austin: having fun and being progressive, which means getting clips and pictures. its always fun to have something to show from skating during the day if you accomplished a cool trick or whtever

Rolling.ro: Which are the most important contests you have participated in? Best results?
Austin: i suck at contests, im getting better but i still suck at them, i just never do good for some reason. the only contests i won were little local contests and shit like that. i usually skate in bitter colds, super hicks, mtl classic, mostly east coast comps, i competed in hoedown for the fisrt time last week, that shit was fun

Rolling.ro: What skating videos do you like the most? Which is your favourite skater? And why?
Austin: hard to find a favorite video. ego was good, freestyle rolling, barely dead to name a few, anyone who can make skating look so sick just by the way they skate

Rolling.ro: What's your favourite combination and favourite trick?
Austin: i like doing all types of souls tricks, particularly tru top souls, and ally oop topsouls, they just feeel so sick

Rolling.ro: Have you ever heard of any romanian rollerblader? and if so, what's your opinion?
Austin: i dont think i heard of any, but i heard they skate good

Rolling.ro: Can you tell me something about "The Truth" that you didn't tell anyone else?
Austin: i guess i can start with the whole "theory" behind The Truth. it basically means that we are real bad ass street skaters that want to make a proper skate video (skating, people, personality, editing, filming). The Truth is pretty much our view on skating and how to make it look cool and appealing. We believe this is the right way to portray skating. along with the name and theory, we got a good line of skaters, fish and franco got the hammers, colin got the style, sean brings teh tech shit, and cesh is just the man

Rolling.ro: Ok, so...last question, what's your advice to the youth of rollerblading?
Austin: i gues what id like to see in newer skaters today would be learing basic tricks before trying 50 royales and huricaine topsouls. other than that though, just make us look good , keep Skating
