ROMANA:

Rolling.ro: Numele tau intreg, varsta, locatie?
Ramelle: Ramelle Knight, 23, New York City (Bronx/Harlem)

Rolling.ro: De cat timp te dai?
Ramelle: 7 ani si jumate

Rolling.ro: Pentru cine te dai? (sponsori)
Ramelle: Deshi, B-Unique, Mountain Dew, The Diplomats, Nike si Spoiled Brat Skate Shop

Rolling.ro: Poti sa ne spui o poveste din interiorul b-unique-ului..adica ce e in spatele fatadelor, in spatele filmelor si celorlalte lucruri?

Rolling.ro: Ce imi poti spune despre urmatorul film B-Unique?
Asta e viata mea. Asta este cea ce fac.

Rolling.ro: Ati ales un nume pana acum?
Ramelle: Nah, nu inca?

Rolling.ro: Aha, cand va fi lansat filmul?
Ramelle: Data nu e inca stabilita, doar fiti cu ochii in patru. Cand va veni vremea, toti vor sti.

Rolling.ro: Cum ai ajuns unde esti acuma? (in rolling)
Crescant in proiecte, vedetele erau dealerii de droguri. Conduceau in cele mai bune masini, aveau toti banii si toate fetele.

A trebuit sa ma duc la colegiu in oras.

Rolling.ro: Care e switch-ul si trick-ul tau preferat?

Puneti-va prioritatile in ordine in viata si faceti ce tre sa faceti sa faceti bani. Intotdeauna fiti loiali. Sanatate tuturor.

ENGLISH:

Rolling.ro: Your full name, age, location?
Ramelle: Ramelle Knight, 23, New York City (Bronx/Harlem)

Rolling.ro: How long have you been skating?
Ramelle: 7 and 1/2 years

Rolling.ro: Who do you skate for? (sponsors)
Ramelle: Deshi, B-Unique, Mountain Dew, The Diplomats, Nike and Spoiled Brat Skate Shop

Rolling.ro: OK, and which of these sponsors is the moast important for you?
Ramelle: B-Unique is the most Important one because we are all family, We started the company together as a few skaters no one really knew and turned it into one of the most talked about companies

Rolling.ro: Can you tell us an the inside story on b-unique..i mean what's behind the scenes, behind the movies and the other stuff?
Ramelle: As of right now, We are working on alot of things. I've been seeing alot of people hating on the Fact that we changed the name and are now calling it "Freestyle Rolling". I'm not going to go into detail about it but it's like this, anyone can Rollerblade, we need to appreciate and show more respect for what WE Do. If you stand in a line up with Speed Skaters they are going to say they Are Rollerbladers as well. We dont speed skate! Simple and plain. Right now, we are stepping our game up with the clothing line and making skate ideas as well as bringing out another video this year that will be one of the best Videos ever. I know people didn't see me alot in Checkmate but the next one I promise you will see a big change from me as well as everyone else.

Rolling.ro: What can you tell me about the next B-Unique movie?
Ramelle: Everybody has seen My Homie Chris Brown Elevate the level of Filming so the filming is going to be crazy! The Sections are going to be crazy! This video is gonna show how serious we are about freestyle rolling. This is my like. This is what I do.

Rolling.ro: Have you picked out a name for it yet?
Ramelle: Nah, not yet.

Rolling.ro: Aha, when is the movie going to be launched?
Ramelle: Theres No Date as of now, just look out. When the time comes, everyone will know.

Rolling.ro: How did you get to where you are now? (in rollerblading)
Ramelle: Honestly, I never got into skating to be known. I was playing basketball with hopes to go into the league (NBA) Or play Overseas. I purchased a pair just to strengthen my legs but after a few weeks of skating, it became more fun and natural to me. I started making online edits of me and people like Murda and Franco Cammayo reached out to me to skate so we rolled together and I got sponsored by Blades skateshop and after that more sponsors hit me up. I started to travel around the world on little tours and I started to handle business more professional and now I have Skate industry sponsors as well as corporate sponsorships. So basketball took the backseat and Skating took over. I thank God for giving me this chance. To Be somebody. Where im from , people dont get to leave out the hood, im very fortunate.

Rolling.ro: How is it to be "an inline star"?
Ramelle: To Be Known is a wonderful thing. Growing up in the projects, the stars were the drug dealers. They drove around in the best cars, had all the money and the girls. But now theres a change. When I go back out there, people that dont even skate but seen videos of me have so much respect for me and I dont have to sell coke to get respect. I took something that was never seen where I'm from (skating) and made the people appreciate what I do. When I see young kids come up to me and ask for an autograph that just blows me away. I get really boosted off of it. I never thought anything like that would happen but it is now. I love seeing the kids faces when they are happy to see me.

Rolling.ro: What are your favorite spots to skate?
Ramelle: I like to skate very smooth ledges, I hate cracks! Crack kills! I like straight rails, downstar rails, Drop rails scare the shit outta me! Downstair ledges and huge ramps

Rolling.ro: What's the sickest spot you skated?
Ramelle: The First Time I went to Cali, I went to skate with Eric Shrijn and the Escozoo dudes...they took me to schools that had soooo much shit to skate I was boosted! I forgot the name now but that was the illest spot I went to in my life

Rolling.ro: Do you have any new projects for the future?
Ramelle: Yea, Not only do I skate but I make music as well. My Rap Name is Fetty and I will be releasing a mixtape this month as well as one every single month after this one, so I want people to look out for that. That's with my New team everyone is talking about, which is Dipskate. We are also releasing a video this year with Dipskate that will show us freestyle rolling as well as days in our lives where you get to see what we are about as well off the skates. We are setting up a tour for this summer with Mountain Dew just as we did last year. With B-Unique...we are about to hit yall with a new line of clothing in the next few months so look out for that. There's a lot more to come but this is what I can give you for now.

Rolling.ro: Where is the tour going to be?
Ramelle: We are doing as U.S. Tour as of now but we are in the works of doing an international tour as well

Rolling.ro: Will romania be included?
Ramelle: That's a hot spot....so we might be out there

Rolling.ro: What movies did you star in and wich one pleased you the most?
Ramelle: I mostly was in our B Unique videos. 1131 and freestyle rolling were my favorites. we actually got PAID FOR THOSE VIDEOS

Rolling.ro: Are you into any other activities besides rollerblading?
Ramelle: yea, I make music everyday, I play basketball, Hockey, and I'm a designer

Rolling.ro: What sacrifices did you make for this sport?
Ramelle: It is a sport. We are athletes. Don't forget that. Sacrificies...I could have played basketball professionally, I didn't go away to college to be a pro skater. I had to go to college in the city. I lost some friends because of skating. They didn't really like what I was doing.

Rolling.ro: What was your best, and what was your worst experience in rollerblading?
Ramelle: My Best was getting a BIG check (i'm not going to say how much but it was huge!) Getting to travel all over the world and meeting some of the greatest people in the world from skating. The worst was knocking my shoulder out of place, knocking my finger out of place but snapping it back into place and then I did a 360 top acid on a 30 step rail. Another worst was messing my knee up where I had to wear a huge brace that went from my thigh to my ankle

Rolling.ro: Which is the most important thing when you skate?
Ramelle: That Im Dressed Fresh, All my clothing gotta be new...I have to have a fitted on or a beanie and I only wear DESHI socks when I'm skating. And that my homies are with me when I'm out skating

Rolling.ro: Who do you like to skate with?
Ramelle: All my NYC dudes (John Stephens, Fish, Franco, Austin P., Murda, my Bronx Rollers, Dave P.) and my homie Julian Bah, Sam Williams, Franky M., Rachard Johnson

Rolling.ro: Which are the most important contests you have participated in? Best results?
Ramelle: IMYTA, ECTSC (came in 1st Place), Bitter Cold, Showdowns (2nd place & 3rd place), a bunch of other street contests i've either won or came in 2nd or 3rd..... like 2 years ago The Contest Scene was so Ill. Now theres no money in. That shit it hurts me. I won't skate hard for no $200 dollars....I got caps that cost more than that!

Rolling.ro: What skating videos do you like the most? Which is your favourite skater? And why?
Ramelle: I dont like skating videos no more. I skate for myself now So I stay away from watching other people but 1 video I love is Coup de tat, My dude Latimer and Shima got it poppin in that video. I don't have a favorite skater but if I have to choose people I would say my homies from NY.....they all have serious swagger.

Rolling.ro: What's your favourite combination and favourite trick?
Ramelle: I dont have a favorite combo but I like to do alot of switch ups when skating straight rails. I like doing tru -pins (on anyting)

Rolling.ro: Have you ever heard of any romanian rollerblader? and if so, what's your opinion?
Ramelle: I've heard and seen some. ene , militharu (i think that's how you write it), bivol mihai. Nice swagger, they hold it down, i like the style, i know them they skate good.

Rolling.ro: Ok, so...last question, what's your advice to the youth of rollerblading?
Ramelle: Skate for yourself. Get your priorities in order in life and do what you gotta do to get money. Always Stay Loyal. Dont quit everything in your life to be a skater, your favorite skater still works a 9 to 5 when he goes home after tour...and most of them still live at home with Mommy. Always Have fun and stay focused. Work Hard.....so you can play hard, Ya digg?! God Bless to Everyone.
